Aristopolos won the Kevin Sharkie Elwick Stakes (1100m) in Hobart on 25 January 2026, becoming the first Australian stakes winner for first-season sire St Mark’s Basilica and his fourth stakes-winning progeny worldwide.
At the most recent Magic Millions horse sales, St Mark’s Basilica progeny have sold for up to $330k.
