  • Owning a racehorse is an exciting experience, however it can be very expensive to do this if you own 100% of the horse. A syndication allows you to part own the horse via shares from 2.5% upwards, making it affordable while still getting 100% of the thrills.

  • Syndications allow you to have a small or large share in your racehorse without the hassle of managing it yourself. We take care of selecting and purchasing the horse using experts like trainers and vets as well as providing regular communication and updates. This is very important as Trainers don’t have the time to contact all the owners and often small shareholders are neglected. As the Syndicate Manager, we do all the work for you from appointing trainers, organizing spelling and all the other services required. Finally, syndications are a great way to meet new people, have a lot of fun and network with other likeminded owners.

  • Yes, you can and should. Owners named in the race book will be allowed into the owners’ enclosure before and after the race to get the jockey’s report on how your horse did on the day. It’s all part of the thrill!

  • The initial share price payment covers the cost of the purchase of the horse and other costs like insurance, breaking in, vets and other costs as detailed in the PDS (product disclosure statement ). After the initial purchase price there is the monthly costs for training and/or spelling and the upkeep of your horse again, as described in the PDS.

  • Any prize money won is distributed according to your shareholding and directly to your nominated bank account by the Racing Jurisdiction themselves.

  • This is the beauty of joining us at the Thrill Racing. Whether you know your horse racing or not , you only need to know how to have fun to begin with and if you like, we can teach you the rest. Our newsletter will contain a section called “School’s In” which is designed to teach you the ins and outs of horse racing and all the jargon that goes with it. You’ll be an expert in no time.
